Nicotra Blue a Familiar Sight at Front of Oswego Supermodified Field

The Nicotra Racing supermodified team, led by top driver and chief mechanic Otto Sitterly, has put together one of the best first halves of any Oswego Speedway supermodified season in recent memory. After winning opening night, Sitterly racked off three more main event triumphs to win the first four features of the season and race to an undefeated month of May at the lakeside oval.

At the midpoint of the Oswego season, Otto has won four of six Oswego features and finished in the top five in five of the six.  A commanding point lead for the G&I Homes No. 7 is the result as Otto and the Nicotra team work toward their third consecutive Oswego supermodified track championship.

The biggest races of the year are on tap in the second half of the season, including the $10,000-to-Win Mr. Supermodified race July 31 and the Budweiser International Classic 200 Sept. 5.  Continue to check the NicotraRacing.com News page for weekly updates on the team’s results.
